My wife says I should read more. And she’s right. I might be more inclined if my shelves were stacked with some of these design classics (Things Magazine – The Pelican Project). http://www.thingsmagazine.net/projects/pelican.htm. Beautiful looking items all of them. The covers were famously re-designed by my mate Jan Tschichold in 1948 and the consistency of the layouts really appeal to me. Throughout the sixties, seventies and eighties the covers were adorned by stunning illustration, photography and some very interesting typography. Right then, where’s me bookmark?
