How to beat the sales slump

Friday, July 3rd, 2009

We like doing new things. And we like helping people become more successful. That’s why we’re happy to announce that we’ve added e-commerce websites to our portfolio of services.

We recently completed an online shop for local jewellery designer Angel Eden and it’s something we’re really excited about! Over time we’ve discovered that our ideal client is someone quite like us, a small company with big ideas and drive. That’s not to say that we don’t work with larger organisations – but there’s something really satisfying in being able to provide smaller businesses the means to achieve their goals.

With the economy being as it is right now, you need to take your business to as wide an audience as possible. We think that online shopping is the best way to do that.

Check out www.angeleden.co.uk to see what we’ve done. You might also like to buy something nice for that special someone. ;)

Mastrcard Logo

I was bodyboarding the web just now and found this page of logos that show what the world might look like if web2.0 broke free of the internet.

I think my favourite is MastrCard. :)

Web premium

So we’re now sitting in the Sheffield Odeon waiting for the web premium seminar to start, breath bated. It might be ok actually. I suppose if I learn some cool tricks to save time and, therefore, get home early – well that’s all good.

Not sure how interested I am in Apple’s ‘Technology update’ coming up before lunch though. “What? Just one piece of aluminum? Why that’s astounding!”

Targeting customers

Wednesday, September 17th, 2008

Over the past few days I’ve been experimenting with some of the various online advertising systems that are available, including Google AdWords and Facebook Ads.

I’ve had some interesting results. It is possible to target very specific people, and (as you only pay when someone actually clicks on your advert) I could see how these systems could really benefit anyone trying to drive traffic to their website.
